Did you know that love actually isn't a lie? It's true! We didn't believe it, ourselves, until Adolescent contributor MaryV Benoit and her partner, fellow Adolescent contributor Chella Man, proved to us that romance isn't dead by being basically the cutest couple ever. In honor of Valentine's Day and February's loved-up vibes, we asked Chella and MaryV to put together a playlist for us.

One of our followers suggested we listen to this song. Now it's on loop.

2. "No. 1 Party Anthem" by Arctic Monkeys

Outside a party in Bushwick, we went outside on the porch to get some air. We ending up slow dancing to this song in the dark. It felt like we were the only ones in the world—cheesy but completely true.

3. "Solo" by Frank Ocean

MaryV loves Frank Ocean. When the Blonde album came out, we listened to it over and over again. As a surprise gift for Chella, MaryV asked Chella’s roommate, Claire, to cover the song. She has a voice of an angel singing the song.

4. "Queen of the Westside" by Brett Dennen

Chella showed MaryV this song and told her he used to listen to it in elementary school. We remember dancing to it when Ryan McGinley was photographing us.

5. "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran

Chella loves Ed Sheeran. Chella was listening to the lyrics on the subway and it reminded him of MaryV. We also danced to this song together at the Ed Sheeran concert. MaryV took Chella there for our one-year.

6. "Rough Soul" by Gold Link

This is basically our go-to workout song.

7. "Wen Uuu" by Shlohmo

We have had sex to this song.

8. "Gap in Clouds" by Yellow Days

MaryV dedicated this song to Chella. He is her gap in the clouds. She also created an ASL (American Sign Language) translation of this song, which is on her YouTube channel.

9. "Best Part" by Daniel Caesar ft. H E R

We duet-sang this song together. The video is on Chella’s YouTube. It's not on Spotify, but we adore this cover by Teddy Aditya and Nadin (also known as Cakecaine):

This song has to be played to get us up and moving.

We definitely had this song on replay throughout December.

12. "You're the One that I Want" from the Grease soundtrack

Every New Year’s Eve, we will watch Grease together as a tradition and sing this song.
