Emma Fernandez is a 17 year old (born in 2000) director/photographer based in Los Angeles. She began experimenting with photography and film since a young age as an after school hobby. She currently studies film in the Cinematic Arts department at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. In Emma’s narrative work, she’s enjoys experimenting with ideas close to home but in an altered state of reality. She focuses her work around how specific color palettes/production design can be utilized to transcend a specific feeling through the screen. Along with her narrative films, she spends her free time making more experimental work
