Annie May Byrne-Noonan
Annie May is a London based culture and current affairs writer. Having faced years of torment by others for her 'weird sounding' Irish surname, she took to writing about things that irritated, troubled and moved her. After graduating with an MSc in Gender & Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, she has been working as a freelance journalist and reporter. Covering London based news such as 2018's Windrush Scandal that risks the deportation of British West-Indians and producing Op-eds about millennial life in cities, she wants to open up discussions about why people do the things they do.
