Annie May is a London based culture and current affairs writer. Having faced years of torment by others for her 'weird sounding' Irish surname, she took to writing about things that irritated, troubled and moved her. After graduating with an MSc in Gender & Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, she has been working as a freelance journalist and reporter.
