Ameena Qobrtay is a young (c. 1999) Muslim-American woman from New Jersey. She specializes in journalism and women & gender studies at Rutgers University-New Brunswick. Ameena plays an active role at her school where she’s a writer for the university paper and is a member of her hall government. She is the editor for Muslim*’s newsletter, “The Post-Up” where she selects stories pertaining to the Muslim identity and informs many every week.
