Just because summer has left us yet again, that definitely does not mean you can't enjoy this creative spin on a classic treat. While a bowl of Ben & Jerry's rarely fails to suffice a craving, this trendy new way to inhale eat ice cream has us fanning ourselves with excitement. Rolled ice cream, a popular Thai snack, has taken over and isn't going anywhere any time soon.
Here’s how it’s done: Choose your favorite ice cream base and whatever you want added. Then, liquid ice cream is added to an anti-griddle, which chills anything placed on it way down to -4 degrees F. Your toppings get added in (if you choose any to go inside, that is), then as the ice cream freezes, a spatula scrapes the ice cream up into perfect, delicious rolls. You can then add whatever other toppings you want.
It's by far one of the yummies trends we've tried. Watch the video and let us know if you've had the chance to try it!
