Just because summer has left us yet again, that definitely does not mean you can't enjoy this creative spin on a classic treat. While a bowl of Ben & Jerry's rarely fails to suffice a craving, this trendy new way to
inhale eat ice cream has us fanning ourselves with excitement. Rolled ice cream, a popular Thai snack, has taken over and isn't going anywhere any time soon.
Here’s how it’s done: Choose your favorite ice cream base and whatever you want added. Then, liquid ice cream is added to an anti-griddle, which chills anything placed on it way down to -4 degrees F. Your toppings get added in (if you choose any to go inside, that is), then as the ice cream freezes, a spatula scrapes the ice cream up into perfect, delicious rolls. You can then add whatever other toppings you want.
