Our very first Adolescent Member Crush is Cid Carrera! An 18-year-old photographer hailing from Oklahoma City whose work makes us feel like we're entering an alternate dimension in the future (Blade Runner 2049 anyone?). Read below for a sneak peak about Cid's work and what inspires him!

@: What got you into photography? 

I spend a lot of time on Instagram. On explore, a neon portrait popped up. I thought it was the coolest thing. I had never seen anything like that before. As I went deeper into that style of photography I had to see if I could pull it off. From there it went deeper to where I am now. 

@: When did you start making your own presets? 

I started making my own presets about 2 years ago for easy editing, but I didn’t start selling them till about 4 months ago.

@: Where do you draw inspiration from?

I draw inspiration from everywhere. I can get inspired by the weirdest things-- I once got inspired by a white wall! 

@: Where's your favorite place to shoot?

I don’t really have one specific spot I have many that make the list but if I HAD to choose it would be a little arts district here in the city named Paseo.

@: What projects are you working on now?

Right now I have a couple photoshoots cooking. I've been obsessed with mirrors and reflections and the color white. I don’t want to give too much away, so I guess you guys will just have to wait and see!
